The owners were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The cozy and comfortable accommodations had jaw-dropping views of the lake. We enjoyed hot showers and the well-equipped kitchen. The location was convenient, with free parking available. The host went above and beyond, offering earlier breakfast upon request and arranging transportation. The staff were willing and the price was great. Free Wi-Fi and luggage storage were provided. No pets allowed and no smoking on site.

The location of this hostel is amazing, with stunning views of the lake. It is also conveniently close to the city center and bus terminal. The rooms are comfortable and warm, with access to kitchen facilities. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to assist guests, like offering rides into town. The shared bathroom is always available and the breakfast, although modest, is similar to other places in Argentina.
The breakfast could use some improvement, with limited options like old bread and butter.

The rooms at Hospedaje Manantiales in El Calafate are filled with natural light, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. As someone who loves waking up to the sunlight streaming in, this was definitely a major highlight for me. The shared kitchen and living room were also a great addition, allowing me to meet and socialize with fellow travelers. The towels and linen provided were a nice touch too!
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the shared bathroom situation. However, I understand that some people might enjoy the communal aspect and see it as an opportunity to connect with other guests.

The view from the hotel was amazing, with a beautiful lagoon and flamingos. The owner was really nice and helpful, even giving us rides when we needed it. Plus, the rooms were comfortable and warm, perfect for the cold weather. The shared kitchen was also a bonus, allowing us to cook our own meals.
The cleanliness of the hotel was really disappointing. The common area and our room were dirty, with bread crumbs, sand, and hair from previous guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Hospedaje Manantiales. We were in El Calafate for a week and enjoyed every moment. The rooms were clean and filled with natural light, and the well-equipped kitchen was a plus. Norberto, our host, was absolutely amazing! He was funny, generous, and intellectual. He even offered us rides into town and picked us up when he saw us walking. The view of the lake from the hotel was stunning, and we loved the almost private bathrooms. The provided breakfast was delicious, and there were convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
